| I would like you to meet my best Friend, the Lord Jesus Christ. Although I have never seen Him, I love Him. "Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory" (1 Peter 1:8). How true these words are ! I never knew what real peace was until I became acquainted with Him. "Acquaint now thyself with him, and be at peace: thereby good shall come unto thee" (Job 22:21). The Lord Jesus is not only my best Friend, He is my Redeemer and my Saviour. He redeemed me with His own precious blood when He took all my sins and made them His very own and died for me ... thus He made me fit for Heaven. All I had to do was accept Him as my Saviour. "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name" (John 1:12). ...and I want to tell you something else. He is not only my Friend, my Redeemer, my Saviour, He is my Guide and Counsellor. I could not live without Him. He has promised to come for me someday. "And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; and where I am, there ye may be also" (John 14:3). I am anxious that you become acquainted with Him. Just accept Him as your Redeemer, and you too will know that peace He gives to all who accept Him as their Lord and Saviour. Listen to what the Lord Jesus says: "And this is Life Eternal, that they might know thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent" (John 17:3).
